There are two shows at 9pm and 10:45pm. The room will be cleared between shows. If you’ve never been to the club it’s a very small, intimate room that seats about 50-60 people. You should come early to get a seat for the first show or to get in line for the second show.

Joining onstage will be the amazing Pamela York on piano, Sebastian ‘Bash’ Whittaker on drums and David Craig on upright bass. This is the same crew that has blown the doors off the hinges at the club for years. Can’t wait to get up on the good foot with these folks!

Lucky me…..I will be performing with the AMAZING Brazilian pianist, Jovino Santos Neto at the Boom Boom Room in Houston for one night only. This will be a night to remember. We have never performed together and this evening of duets should prove exciting for anyone who attends.

Jovino has been nominated several times for Grammy Awards and is a brilliant composer, arranger and pianist.

We are lucky that his daughter and son-in-law have moved to Houston from Seattle. Daddy wants to be able to come to visit often. So, I decided we could welcome him to town with a sweet little ‘last minute’ After Christmas show. The cover will be low that night — like $10 a person and there will be NO drink minimum from the bar.

Austin– MoMo’s has closed it’s doors. It appears that the new neighbors downstairs, in the old Katz’s restaurant did some ‘non-permitted’ renovations that compromised the structural support of the ceiling. Therefore making it too dangerous for MoMo’s to stay open. The club owner considered suing, but the year or so that it would have taken for was just too much loss…so, close the club, take the money in a settlement and look to the future. Can’t blame him. I would have made the same decision. Onward!

This Phoenix shall rise again!!! Stay tuned.
